Signs to Replace ToiletThough not the most comfortable chair, the average person easily spends 1 to 3 years sitting on a toilet in their lifetime. If your current toilet isn’t flushing properly or you are experiencing the clogs that we all dread, perhaps it is time to upgrade to a new model.

Here are a few signs that a new toilet should be in your near future in Lake Charles and Beaumont.

If the plunger in your bathroom is getting a little too much usage lately, it might be time to call your local plumber to see what the problem is. Occasional clogs can be normal. But no family should have constant clogs in their toilet to deal with.

Constant Repair
Certain repairs can be done to extend the life of our toilet. But if you’re taking the lid off the back of the toilet often to perform little tricks to keep it working, now might be a good time to consider upgrading to a newer model.

Cracked Porcelain
Hairline cracks can develop over time in the porcelain of our toilets. While they may seem harmless now, those same cracks can slowly develop into unseen leaks that cause damage to the floor. It’s always a good idea to replace a cracked toilet before its breaks and floods your bathroom floor.

Scratched and Worn Porcelain
The more you clean the surface, the more scratched and worn it will become. The end result is that it will become more difficult to clean and make our bathroom cleaning time even longer. Don’t you think we all spend more than enough time in the bathroom already?

Go Green
Saving water means saving money. A low flush toilet does just that. And helping the environment is just another bonus to updating. Newer models can use less than 2 gallons per flush, compared to 3-5 gallons in an older model. When was the last time you replaced your toilet?

A New Look
The bathroom and kitchen are 2 rooms in the home that require updating. Sometimes we update out of necessity, sometimes out of sheer appearance. The reason doesn’t matter, only the end result.
